Sungguh mengherankan YESS merilis album Queen justru bukan di era Queen main Progressive Rock di pertengahan 70 an. YESS yang kental dengan rilisan Progressive Rock dan Jazz Fusion, malahan merilis 2 album Queen, A Kind of Magic dan Live Magic yang berwarna New Wave.
A Kind of Magic merupakan album studio Queen ke 12, yang memunculkan hits "A Kind of Magic", "One Vision" dan "Friends Will Be Friends"
Saya sendiri kurang suka dengan album ini dibanding era awal Queen, namun jika disuruh milih track favorit saya adalah Gimme The Prize
Untuk mengisi pita kosong pada kaset berdurasi 60 menit ini, YESS menyisipkan The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra yang memainkan lagu lagu Queen dalam format Orchestra.
